Language Matters UK Email settings

To setup your email account on a client such as Outlook you will need to use the mail settings  below:

For IMAP

Account type: IMAP

Incoming  mail server:

mail.languagemattersuk.com 

SSL Incoming mail server:

cloud816.thundercloud.uk

- depending on your server hostname, please contact support if you are not sure what this is. 

You can also use mail.languagemattersuk.com for your SSL incoming server but you must make sure there is an active SSL in place for that.

Port: 143

SSL Port: 993

Username: *name*@languagemattersuk.com

Password: Email account password

For POP3

Incoming mail server:

mail.languagemattersuk.com

SSL Incoming mail server:

cloud816.thundercloud.uk

Port: 110

SSL Port: 995

Username: *name*@languagemattersuk.com

Password: Email account password




Outgoing Settings

Outgoing mail server:

mail.languagemattersuk.com

SSL Outgoing mail server:

cloud816.thundercloud.uk

- depending on your server hostname, please contact support if you are not sure what this is. 

You can also use

mail.languagemattersuk.com

for your SSL incoming server but you must make sure there is an active SSL in place for that.

Port: 25    (you can try port 25025 if you have issues sending)

SSL Port: 465

Username: *name*@languagemattersuk.com

Password: Email account password


Please make sure you enable outbound authentication if using Outlook. This will use the same credentials as your incoming server.
